CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC STAR DAN DAVIDSON RELEASES HIS NEW SINGLE, “AIN’T THAT THE TRUTH”
Platinum-selling Canadian country artist, songwriter, and producer Dan Davidson returns with his new radiant, love-struck single “Ain’t That The Truth,”: out now on all streaming platforms.Produced in Nashville by Gavin Slate(The Reklaws, James Barker Band), “Ain’t That The Truth” is pure modern-country magic–an ode to that electric spark that happens when you know you’re falling in love.  With gut-level certainty and ‘cards on the table’ vulnerability, the track delivers both heart and energy, combining a sleek, modern country sound with the signature storytelling that has defined Dan’s career.“This was one of those songs that just came out so naturally,” says Davidson. “It’s actually pretty rare for me to write with just one other person, but Gavin and I sat down together and within a couple hours it feltlike we had something really special. Sometimes a song just lands perfectly on the first try–this was one of those. The demo had everything it needed, and it only took a few small tweaks to become the final version.”Dan once again pushes the boundaries of music video production with the official “Ain’t That The Truth” video, directed by Travis Nesbitt: and filmed at Cook County Saloon in Edmonton, AB. At first glance, the video appears to be a classic country music clip, but a few eerie moments of foreshadowing hint that something more is brewing.
The release of “Ain’t That The Truth” continues a banner year for Davidson, following his irresistible summer single “Buckle Rubbin’”: which debuted at #30 on Australia’s CountryTown Top 50 Airplay Chart and has since surpassed 200,000 global streams. It also marked the debut release on SkySong Records, the newly launched boutique label Davidson co-founded with country heavyweights Jason McCoy and Clayton Bellamy (The Road Hammers) and philanthropist Craig Senyk , in partnership with ABC Music/The Orchard.

Kirsty Lee Akers – It’s The Little Things

BEHIND THE SMILE: KIRSTY LEE AKERS SHARES HER PERSONAL STRUGGLES WITH DEPRESSION IN  ‘IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS’How an emotional conversation with longtime collaborator Trey Bruce sparked one of Kirsty’s most raw and honest songs to date.“It’s the Little Things” is Kirsty Lee Akers at her most vulnerable. Written in Nashville with longtime collaborator and Emmy Award-winning songwriter/producer Trey Bruce, the song was born from a moment when her carefully constructed facade finally cracked. In a session that began with Trey simply asking, “Is everything ok?”, years of bottled-up emotion spilled out, shaping lyrics that speak to the crushing weight of depression and the whiplash of an artist’s life- the highs of performing for thousands  one night, followed by the loneliness of feeling lost and invisible the next.“I’ve always wanted to produce Kirsty, and after we wrote ‘It’s The Little Things’, I knew that was the song that I’d be willing to do whatever it takes, to cut. Kirsty was having a bad day, and I encouraged her to own it, to say the hurt or anger out loud, in plain English. I’ve been writing with Kirsty since she was 18, so talking with each other honestly was easy. Once we got the first verse almost written, the lines began to come pretty quickly. We got down in the dirt pretty deep during this write. It was a great day after all”. – Trey BruceWith haunting honesty, Kirsty turns her breakdown into a confession set to melody, shining a light on how the smallest moments can trigger the deepest pain.“This song was born from a co-writing session with my producer Trey,” says Kirsty. “It all started from him asking me one question- is everything ok? Up until that point I thought I had been putting on a great facade, and I was! I’m the girl who always has her shit together, the high achiever, the first-born daughter who everyone comes to for their problems, the one always making jokes and making people laugh… but Trey and I have worked together since I was 18 years old and he could obviously see through all of that. In that moment, I absolutely fell to pieces. It felt like twenty years of bottled-up emotion came flooding out, and I was bawling uncontrollably. Trey just started writing down everything I was saying and in no time, we had this song.”It’s The Little Things captures the raw humanity behind the performer- the cracks beneath the polish, the truth behind the smile. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is admit that everything isn’t okay.

Victoria Crosby- Yodeling With Duke

’Yodeling with Duke’ is a joyful, toe-tapping celebration of bush life and the bond between a girl and her horse. Inspired by Victoria Crosby’s real-life four-legged mate, Duke, this track is packed with charm, character, and a good dose of yodeling. It’s light-hearted and loud in all the right ways – a bit of fun before the full album, ‘North of the Range’ rides in this November. With classic country roots and a wink to the golden era of yodeling gone by, this is a song for anyone who’s ever belted out a tune in the ute, the saddle, or the shower. One thing’s for sure: when Victoria and Duke come galloping through your speakers, you’ll be grinning the whole way.

Indoor Garden Party- Save Me

RUSSELL CROWE’S INDOOR GARDEN PARTY ANNOUNCE ONE-NIGHT-ONLY SHOWAT THE ENMORE THEATRE ON SATURDAY 20 DECEMBER
What is INDOOR GARDEN PARTY?It is a band.An Event.A celebration!
Having performed all over the world from Glastonbury Festival to Rome’s Colosseum in 2024, Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party will play just one show in 2025 – an intimate performance at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre alongside special guests BRAKE,  Marcia Hines, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lorraine O’Reilly and Danielle Spencer. When asked what the audience should expect, Crowe replies enigmatically, “Stories, songs, and surprises”, delivered via an  eclectic mix of rock, blues, country and gospel,  original songs, covers and collaborations. You can see the grandeur of these performances when watching Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party  perform ‘Save Me’ live in Siena: the beautifully shot gospel style music video for ‘ Let Your Light Shine featuring Marcia Hines: . Their upcoming performance at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre promises more of the same but in an incredibly intimate setting for those lucky enough to be in the room. First brought to life in 2009 on a rainy night in a tent outside a London pub owned by legendary talk show host Michael Parkinson, the Indoor Garden Party is the music and live performance vehicle of Academy Award winner Russell Crowe. Though Crowe has been releasing music since 1982, Indoor Garden Party are only two albums into their career, having released 2017’s The Musical and more recently 2024’s Prose and Cons. Earlier this year, Crowe also released a duet with Italian legend Zucchero,  of the Eddie Vedder song ‘ Just Breathe’, and performed two concerts with him at Rome’s Circo Massimo.Crowe’s ease with audiences and his ability to connect drives every show to a foot-stomping crescendo, with UK press describing Crowe as  “Every inch the rock star” and “The perfect front man” after his spectacular performance at Glastonbury last year. Because of his intense work schedule on his day job, carving time out for music takes a good deal of planning. 2023 and 2024 saw Indoor Garden Party play a bunch of shows at home in Australia, but also tour to Italy, France, Malta, Czech Republic, Ireland, UK and USA, with the band stacking up performances at legendary venues. Whether it be the The Whiskey a Go-Go in Los Angeles, Tipitina’s in New Orleans, Gaiety Theatre in Dublin, the Colosseum in Rome, La Cigale in Paris, the ancient amphitheatre in Pompeii, or 12,000 people crammed into Piazza del Campo in Siena, the shows have been epic. 2025 has just one show, Saturday 20 December at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney. One of the traditions of Indoor Garden Party shows is the eclectic guests that get up and perform with the band, and this show will be no exception. From the USA, indie rock superstar in the making, BRAKE, whose pop driven rock songs flash around  social media sites like TikTok, is on the bill. His track ‘ Cigarettes and Black Lipstick Stains’ has 4M listens on Spotify alone.  Golden Guitar legend Troy Cassar-Daley, queen of soul Marcia Hines, and Ireland’s Lorraine O’Reilly will be guests on the night, and the show will open with Danielle Spencer performing new material, including her recent ‘ Regenerate’ single.Coming off the back of last year’s tour which covered 6 countries and 60,000km, there were initially big plans for shows in 2025. However, the year has turned monumental in Crowe’s day job. By the time the Enmore Theatre show rolls around, Crowe will have completed 6 feature films in 12 months, something he has never done before, and the titles are already generating buzz and high anticipation.Upcoming films include Nuremberg with Rami Malek, Michael Shannon & Leo Woodall (Worldwide release November 7), the Australian production Beast in Me with Dan McPherson and Amy Shark in her feature film debut, Bear Country with Luke Evans and Teresa Palmer, Billion Dollar Spy with Harry Lawtey, UNABOMB with Jacob Tremblay, The Weight with Ethan Hawke, and the hotly awaited Highlander remake with Henry Cavill. Now, to cap off what has been an extraordinary year of filmmaking, Crowe looks forward to a big Sydney hometown send off at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday 20 December where you can exclusively catch Indoor Garden Party at their only show this year.On this special one-off event, Russell Crowe says “I’m really looking forward to this concert. It has been a little frustrating having to put some music things aside for the day job as the year has gone on, but you won’t hear me complaining. In my profession, too much work is a bonus. For the band, this gig will be like a celebration. A heavy work year behind us, one big blow out to finish the year will be so much fun. It’ll be like the Christmas show you go to when you don’t really want to go to a Christmas show. It’s not official, but I’m pretty sure we will have a ‘no reindeer’ policy on the night.”
