Back from her recent trip to Nashville and her debut performance at CMA Music Festival, Melanie Dyer drops a brand new single, “Dust “. The Australian singer/songwriter has cemented herself as a leading lady in contemporary country with hits like “Memphis T-Shirt”, ” Run Out Of Road” and her most recent hit, “Song For That”.
Produced by Rod McCormack, Melanie describes her new track, “Dust is a high energy call-to-action to take the bull by the horns and ride the highs in life. I hope that when people turn it up on the radio, stream it or hear it live, they get a rush of confidence to keep moving forward and never settle for less.”
Joining the lineup for CMA Music Festival 2023, Melanie played alongside the likes of Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Miranda Lambert and more to celebrate the Festival’s 50th Anniversary.
With sales approaching 10 million, Melanie released her sophomore album in 2022, “Between You & Me”; featuring hit singles, “Run Out Of Road”, ” Cheap Moscato”, “Cheating On Me” and “Dumb Decisions” (with Caitlyn Shadbolt) and the title track a collab with US Artist Troy Cartwright. The album earned Melanie 2 CMAA Golden Guitar Award nominations for Female Artist of the Year and Collaboration of the year in January 2023. Melanie is an APRA Professional Development Award Winner, APRA Nominated songwriter (“Memphis T-Shirt”) and an ‘in demand’ songwriter within the Australian music industry.
